2024

In June 2024, I was given the opportunity to travel to Ireland, England, Scotland, and the Isle of Man to conduct research on the impact of the 1957 Windscale Fire, the most catastrophic nuclear accident to occur on English soil. Through this process, I interviewed representatives from several government agencies, individuals within the nuclear industry, and civilians impacted by nuclear fallout. This research will appear in the book I am currently working on.
In July and August of 2024, I collected research on the Nutritional Research Trials conducted at the Fernald School from 1946 to the late 1950s in Waltham, Massachusetts. Over the course of several years, over 107 disabled children were fed radiation without their consent. The research I collected will inform the book I am currently working on.

Phoebes Edited

In the Fall of 2023, I joined the phoebe journal team as the Assistant Nonfiction Editor, rising to the role of Nonfiction Editor the following academic year. Linked are some of the editions I worked on, containing lovely pieces by writers that I was very fortunate to work with.
